Week 3 – Creative Self-Care

Are you the creative type? If so, this challenge might come more easily to you. For others you might be surprised at just how creative you are without realizing it!

Creativity allows us to express ourselves, work through thoughts, feelings, and ideas, helps us to process the world around us and the one inside of us.  It helps to increase happiness, can reduce anxiety, depression, and stress, boosts your immune system, and can even make you smarter.

So what do you like to do to be creative? Tell us about it. And if you need some suggestions to get started, here are a few options:

  • Colour
  • Draw or paint
  • Write
  • Sing
  • Create music
  • Take some pictures
  • Garden
  • Knit or crochet
  • Try out a new makeup look
  • Play around with TikTok
  • Learn a new dance or make one up
